We are pleased to announce that the Asia Pacific Vis Pre Moot will be held again this year and our partner and host this year is AIAC, Malaysia.

The Pre-Moot will provide teams with the opportunity to argue before panels comprising eminent arbitrators and academics, and the AIAC APAC PRE-MOOT helps to give training to young budding lawyers and students to improve their skills in advocacy and in arbitration. This pre-moot will also be an essential part of training for students and arbitrators planning to attend the Vis and Vis East Moot.

The general rounds will be conducted virtually on 30th & 31st Jan and 6th & 7th February 2027
with the elimination rounds taking place in-person at AIAC in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia: 1st to 5th March 2027.

Additionally, in line with our objective of promoting diversity and inclusion and to ensure that there are no impediments to participating in the Pre-Moot, we are committed to working with teams and students facing challenges in their participation so as to enable them to compete on an even footing and enhance their skills, with the ultimate goal of creating a more inclusive arbitration community in the long term.
